hyd cylinder seal kit for Speeco wood splitter

I just got a Speeco 22 ton woodsplitter that had been close enough to a fire to melt the wiper seal on the hyd cylinder. the paint is still intact and I was able to disassemble it with no problems. The problem is that it is a Chinese made cylinder (Xinghui model 00880D), after much "surfing the 'net" I haven't found a source for a seal kit. I don't live on the edge of the earth, but I can see it from my front door. So, taking it to a hydraulic repair shop is not an option without losing a day of work. Anyone have a source or a top notch hydraulic shop that I could call? No kit available from Speeco, only the whole cylinder.

Try finding it at an online seal supply.

You'll need careful measurements in millimeters. Look the old seal over carefully, if there is anything left, it might have some numbers on it.

Start with the rod diameter, work back from there for the OD, width, etc.

My hydraulic shop wouldn't have hits. They have an assortment of parts. Measure your cylinder and go get parts to match yours.

Is your cylinder a tie rod type that you can take apart? My Agco dealer here seems to be able to find wipers and piston seals for just about anything. Like was said, check the rod diameter, and go from there.

I repaired a pair of welded cylinders on the angle cylinders for the blade on my 955 John Deere. I machined the welds off and made new barrels for them because they were pitted. I took the stackable piston V-rings and wiper to them and they got me just what I needed. $22.00 including freight and I was ready to go.

I just ordered wiper seals for the cylinders on my truck snowplow.
