some years past, j c whitney [did I spell that right ] had a catalog for mostly truck parts adds ons etc most everything to spruce up your truck. they no longer print one.. is there a good catalog out there similar to one by j c whitney thanks

J C Whitney is still in business. If I remember right, somewhere between Joliet and Chicago. South side of I80. Too expensive to print and mail all those catalogs to all us tire kickers. I believe you will have to go to their online store. I was told they aren' cheap anymore.

I don't know about whitney but LMC truck will have a lot of stuff and I'm fairly sure they print them and well as on line.

Back in 1970 Whitney was the only outlet I could find to customize my 1965 Honda Scrambler. I got teardrop tank Z handlebars exhaust pipes tachometer tailite etc. I got the 4in.front tubes at a Honda dealership.

J.C. Whitney does have an "eCatalog" that you view and "flip" thru the pages.
Go to home page lower right corner.

I see they boast about being in business 100 years, which is funny since they have gone bankrupt numerous times and sold out to other owners several times.

I think I remember back in the 70's I used to get a JC Whitney catalog or flyer, in the mail once or twice a week. I remember thinking to myself- how do they stay in business sending out so many catalogs?

I never could understand how the people that put the catalog together actually kept their job..

Only parts catalog I ever saw where you could find a starter for a John Deere B, left rear fender for a 67 VW Beetle and a Sissy bar for a 1941 Harley Davidson all on the same page..
