Well, I heard back from Drill Hog about the varying prices between Amazon and eBay. They offered to refund $40 from my purchase. Wow! Unfortunately, no word on why there is so much price difference in the first place. That still has me a bit in shock. Also, there seems to still be a lot of mystery concerning this "business".
As per recommendations, I'm getting some Tap Magic; both the original and the extra thick, depending on the job at hand. Another perk from Drill Hog is that they also wanted to send me a sample of their own cutting fluid. Will be nice to compare it with Tap Magic, which I have also never used before.
So at this point, I see it this way - It seems Drill Hog sells some pretty good drill bits. Still not certain that "they" are the manufacturer, but there is definitely a lot of quality there for the price! But for anyone wanting to buy some of their bits, save yourself some headaches and look on eBay first. You'll likely save a chunk of change.
