I am going to look at a JD 626AMT later today, is there anything specific about this machine I should be looking at? He is asking 1250,also states that sometimes doesn't want to start when hot. Looking just to use it at my place or possibly leaving it at my folks farm for them to use, probably won't see a lot of hours.

I would think slow is a good thing, much safer, less likely to flip over.

My mule tops out at 25 mph. That could be too fast under some off road conditions.

Some UTV's run 60 mph and up. I think that would be down right scary.
