I would like to have titled it a brush with death, but I did not want to scare anyone. I was using a wire wheel and caught the edge of a spoke wheel. It jump out of my hand and hit me just below waist high. Luckily it turned itself off. When I picked it up, it would not turn back on. I checked the cord, but it was delivering power to the motor. I then pulled the brushes back and let them snap back in to their proper position. Runs just find now. I hate the idea of throwing something away when the fix is so easy. Just thought I would pass this along in case someone else has a similar problem.
