Here is a 170 piece Crescent tool set that I have in several of my trucks. It has 1/4,3/8 and 1/2 sockets in SAE and metric. A few wrenches and common tools. They all snap into the case so they do not bounce around. I bought this set at Menard's for around $100. The tools do have a life time warranty. I had a spring break in the 3/8 ratchet and they replaced it.

A nice feature is the deep well sockets are six point and the 1/4 drive ones are six point too.

Here is the actual sets I have The cases are a little better. The Red plastic latches are actually hinged. The sets have been a good buy for a carry along set. Watch the numbers closely as they have a different setup and cheaper latches. The first one I pictures is a gray case and the cheaper latches. They are currently on sale at Amazon for $109.98.

The set number is: Crescent CTK170MP

Set looks nice. I carry wrenches, pliers and stuff in two different boxes I have, but that would be a nice set to add ! Do you need adapters to use some of the sockets ? I am guessing so. Like if you wanted to use a 3/4 socket on the 3/8 ratchet ? Just wondering ! Definitely worth looking into.

IRC 7/8 on the 1/2 sockets but 3/4 on the wrenches.
