Nightscaping power center

Nothing to do with tractors or tools but I"m wondering if anyone out there has experience with transformer problems or getting ahold of the "Nightscaping" folks, they are apparently no longer in business. Phones are either disconnected or never answered. I have a T-250-SS powercenter that I believe has a faulty transformer. I have voltage going to the analog timer but none to the screw-in fuse. Seems if the transformer is bad there should be some signs of heat or electrical smell? Any ideas?? This is a $400 unit, I hate to give up without a fight! Thanks in advance for any help. EGBinOR

Nightscaping closed in late August or early Sept. of 2013. I did find a distributor that is showing left over inventory for 2014 and they have the transformer on clearance for $115. If they have any left, that might be a reasonable solution. I don"t know who made their transformers or if you could find a manufacturer label inside the case.

Should be able to test transformer wqith voltmeter/ohmmeter if you're brave enough to pop the cover. Transformer is most probably a off-the-shelf unit, and available at several sources.
If you can access the transformer, it may well be labeled with input/output ratings. This would give you clue to cross referencing with other manufacturers/distributors. Not all lost yet! My guess is the transformer is OK, just blew the thermal overload fuse.
