Anybody got one of these????

No, not yet, didn't sears or craftsman just release a similar tool, something like the one you posted, or the one I thought I have seen, looks very useful, and worth owning.

Yup - got one at Costco. I used it for cutting very brittle materials like plastic. Gets a thumbs up from me.

I see it only has a few reviews, but they are all 5 out of 5. I've seen them advertised and thought it was a great idea but had no interest at the time. Sure could be handy for a lot of different tasks, and the no kick back is awesome.
I see they offer free shipping, will they ship it to you in Germ 'n eeh for free too, or do you have it shipped to someone stateside and then have it forwarded?
I say buy it and then report back on how you like it.

Dad watches our kids (ages 3 and almost 1) so watches a lot of daytime TV. I have no idea why, but those infomercials must have worked on him, as he ordered one of those TwinCut saws they advertise on TV. I teased him pretty bad for it until we put up his shop...never seen anything cut tin so nicely. He has used it quite a bit, and seems to have held up pretty well for him.

I was given the Rockwell version for Christmas, but have not had a use for it yet. Sitting on my shelf waiting for a job for now, can"t give you a review at all.

Looks cool Dave.

Perhaps I am not observant but I didn't see an amperage listed. seems that wth the two blades you would get a kerf twice as wide and would require twice the power.

I thnk the real genius of this tool would be to repel unwanted salesmen from the front door.

If you stuck those counterrotating blades in my face I would scat quick!!

I got one of these in '04 while building my pole shed. Works really well and makes clean cuts on the sheet metal. Noisy as he!!, but what isn't when cutting steel. Be sure and have ear plugs available. The wax sticks are for use when cutting aluminum or copper, etc. Mine is a Craftsman and it looks exactly like the one you're looking at except for color. I see the new Craftsmans are red, not mine. Here's a link to the Sears item.

have both a 6" and a 5" crapsman the 6" must be at
least 8 years old. I use them all the time. also
have the one from HF thats on sale now. its the
same as the craftsman and the other names. no matter
what some people on here will say it works as good an
any other brand. they cut most anything great on
plastic ect. I love to cut with it, I find i grab it
first /just my 2 1/2 cents worth

No... I have to find one over here in 230 volts (or use a transformer)... Just get the real poop on it from you folks first. Sounds like I need to start looking.
