Oil suction gun???

I have an old, old one too. The suction was metal tube got bent up. So I replaced it with a water supply tube for a toilet plus an "o" ring. Still using it that way.

we've got one a work, use it for filling gearboxes and such. works great, just dont leave it sitting with oil in it because when you come back it will be empty. For $10 i wouldnt think twice about buying one

I have one like that. Its not the best thing to use, but for filling manual transmissions on the truck, and some hydro fluid reservoirs, it gets the job done. It is kinda of hard to work when the oil is cold or thick.

I think you would be o.k. with the HF brand in that.

Looks familiar,

I believe I used that very one, then quickly dislodged that tube into my transfer case.

It's still there,

D.

If you'd look at a name brand one and the HF one I'd just about bet you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Something that simple is just about impossible to screw up or make any cheaper....

They are ALL made in china, now, might as well buy from HF, and save a few bucks. You will use it for a couple jobs, then put it on a shelf, and forget where it is, till you need it again, and by then, the rubber seal will be bad, or the plastic tube will be brittle. Suck is life!

why not just make one out of a busted grease gun? I
know every good farmer has to have one of those
layin around. made one for myself a long time ago an
still using it.

I had one of the better ones from NAPA and a farmer borrowed it and broke the rubber doer inside of it. I bought one from HF and if I use it in the winter time I will heat the oil so it won't pop it again. It'll work good on thin oil but cold thick oil will put most any of them out of business. ohfred
