HF Mig welder

I know, I know, Harbor Freight stuff is junk. Well, I bought their Dual Mig 151 to teach myself how to do mig welding. Turns out, it has worked pretty well for the past year or so. Of course I do have a problem with it now. Yesterday, while working on a project I noticed that the sheath that covers the torch lead had slipped out of the handle, exposing the liner and the control wires etc. In trying to get the sheath back in the handle, I wound up with the torch in about four pieces. Nothing broke, it just came all apart in my hand when I released the retaining collar. I got it all back together with the exception of one little green lead wire, with a T shaped spade on its end. For the life of me I can't tell where it fits in the handle, or what that spade is for. There doesn't seem to be any place for it to plug into. I'm hopeing that some kind soul on here has been into one of these torches and can tell me where that green wire goes.

Call the HF tech support number. 1-800-444-3353. I bought an air compressor about 4 or 5 years ago. It was wired wrong from the factory. I got a tech on the phone and he walked me through reversing several wires.

I am sure a tech could tell you where the green wire plugs into. I was lucky enough to get an American tech on the phone.

Nope. The manual doesn't break down the torch. :x I'm just pzzd enough to drive the 20 miles to the HF store and have a[u:cdb0106600]GOOOOOD[/u:cdb0106600] look at one of their display machines.

The guys at weldingweb.com came to my rescue with pics and a discription of where the green wires' tab goes. At 70, my eye sight couldn't see the little slot for the tab. Got it back together and working like a charm. BTW, that site has a world of info on welders and welding, including a multipage post on mods to the "Harbor Fright" 151 that puts it a class with the big boys.
