I have eye surgery mid day today, so I won't be able to see the monitor to reply to any of my threads I've posted over the last several days. The old saying, blind in one eye can't see out of the other, well that's me for the next couple days. :lol: Should be back Saturday, unless something goes wrong! :wink:

It will be worth it and you'll love your new vision! You'll still be able to weld though. :wink: I've seen your welds and bet you could weld better blindfolded than a lot of people could with 20/20 vision.

My nephew had eye surgery for a detached retina at the Wilmer Eye Institute in Baltimore. He had the first surgery on April 1st 2011. When he went back a week later they told him the eye wasn't in the socket like it should be and they redid the surgery on April 8th. When he came out of surgery he wasn't feeling very well and they kept him in their hospital overnight. It was a good thing too since he couldn't pee and they had to use a catheter on him. I picked him up the following afternoon and his second surgery went well and he's now fully recovered.
