Onan CCKA Valve Seat Angle

Trying to make one of these run again on a Lincwelder 225, and need to know what the valve seat angle is supposed to be.
Previous owner left it outside all winter, and water corroded valve seats quite a bit. Had it running, but rings are stuck, and valve seats so bad that compression is only about 75 psi. Got new rings and valves coming, but need to be sure what angle seats are supposed to be cut to.

Not sure what to make of cylinder walls here. Even after deglazing, they have a frosted appearance, where water sat...no real pitting, but just a weird appearance. Going to try a new set of rings and see.

A real shame, as this engine only had a few hundred hours, if that, on a total rebuild.

Valve face angle 44
Valve seat angle 45
Points 0.020
Plugs 0.025
Intake Clearance 0.007
Exhaust Clearance 0.016

Hope this helps.

Billy is right, the seats will be at a standard angle with the valves 1
degree off so they have a sharp edge to seal with. The seats will be 45
or 30.

I have the valve grinding equipment if you are in eastern iowa.

I have a Neway seat cutter, but it only does 46 and 30 degree seats. Not sure how that will work, but worth a try. Anything is an improvement hare.

Thanks for the offer, but I'm in Se Nebraska......can't get there from here till the river goes down!
