OT---AV8 viras removal

I have a new computer with Norton security, Superantispyware, and Malwarebytes. These are updated and run frequently.
I keep getting the fake popup from AV8. I have been advised to shutdown and not click on anything from this popup.
Has anyone completely removed this by using the first results from doing an AV8 search.

you can use malwarebytes. if you don't have then
you will to download it in safe mode with
networking. to enter safe mode reboot and hit f8
multiple times until it ask if you want to start
in safe mode. be sure to check safe mode with
networking. you can download malwarebytes from
100-downloads.com,don't forget the dash!!, which
is safe. program is free. install it, update it
and then run it still in safe mode(with
networking). if you have trouble then post on
newbiesforum.com. this is a good website that
offers lots of help, but you will have to register
in order to post. hope this helps.

THANKS--As I stated in my OP, I have malwarebytes and I installed it while not in safe mode. At the time of install, I wasn't having any problems. I had it on my old computer and wanted it on the new one. Should I try to reinstall in safe mode?

I realized you already had it after i posted. just
go into safe mode, bring malwarebytes up and update
it. then run it still in safe mode. if you post this
on newbies then you might want to download and run
hijackthis. it shows everything running on your
computer. copy and past the log into your post, if
you post on newbies. it is free, and friendly. I
have posted and used them lots. btw, safe mode only
runs what has to run, nothing else unless you start
it.

also, if you click in the av8 window, it will
download a lot of crap, trojans, malware, etc,
then ask you for 30 to 40 dollars to "fix
problem". if you pay then you lose your money and
get lots more malware on you computer. this is not
the only program going around.

I use malwarebytes, spybot search and destroy. for
anti-virus I use microsoft security essentials.
all are free with free updates. I do not but
norton, mcafee or any other anti-virus porgram.

Jiles, boot your computer in to safe mode holding the F8 key during the computers logo boot screen. when at the desktop, open nortons security and run FULL SYSTEM scan. that should remove the problem. I had that problem before. when finished just restart to return to normal OS
