Bib overalls for bellies...

That don't make you look like a clown......

I can't be the only one built like this... Been body building (and rearranging) over the years and am proportioned a liiiiittle bit different than I used to be.

5'9" 235 pounds
waist (where my belt fits) 40"
belly (where my belt USED to fit) 49"
inseam 30"

Would love to have some bibs but so far, anything I could get into belly wise, fit like something Bozo would wear to the point of being unsafe.

Anyone built close to that? If so, where do you get your bibs?

Thanks, Dave

I'm pretty close, inseam 30 5'10" 225. I have the same problem I can't get anything done for pulling my pants up so, I have been wearing coveralls to work in for several years. Get them from Dickies over the internet. Old man Dickie, they called him Colonel Dickie, Who started the company had a ranch near the little town where I was raised. He would come to the ranch on the weekend. He would come in a big black Packard automobile with a black chauffer and a black maid. When he got to town he would have to get out and go in the grocery store because they would not let his servants get out of the car. I don't think they wanted to.

Might try suspenders if you can't find the
overalls you like. They work pretty much the same
way, but your belly is not covered, and they keep
you from needing to pull your pants up all the
time. I have a tough time with my lower back, so I
have pretty much stopped wearing a belt, as I have
learned it puts more pressure in the damaged area.
I am about your height, and same inseam. Waist is
just a "little" smaller (32"). If it gets to the
point I have to have something to hold my jeans
up, I'll go with the suspenders.

Dave2, you could do like my Uncle always did, years ago. Every time he got new bibs, he just took his jack knife and cut the legs off where he wanted them and cut a notch out where the bib came up too tight to his throat. My Aunt was a good at sewing, but he said it was more comfortable the way he did it.

Friendly advice. Time for a diet. Start by ditching the sodas and diet sodas.

Go eat a coulpe pies and a gallon of milkshake, BC. Who needs you picking on people. He asked about bib overalls, not your opinion on weight loss.

I always wondered how people get around doing anything at all with a big gut sticking out front.

Been doing the Roundhouse bibs for eight years. They seem to last me about four years. I get two new pair a year and keep one pair back for dress up/slip on. You know like going out to eat, weddings and such. I am close to being out of Oliver hats that are not grease coated though.
People really look up to men in pin striped Roundhouse bibs and a clean Oliver hat. I always get lots of big smiles and I see people out of the corner of my eye pointing me out to their spouses.
I know they are saying, you gotta get me a pair like that for Christmas. Feels good to make a fashion statement that others like.

I took my Mom to the ER two weeks ago tomorrow and the ER doctor walked in and said, who has horses? Must be roundhouse bibs and horses go together.

Go to a good tailor and have them custom made. They can make the waist and waste fit as well as leg and seat size and inseams and outseams to fit the posterior.
Have him/her fit your shirts to match also.
Write the expense off as safety equipment.
