Campbell Hydrant

Does anyone have any experience with these yard hydrants? I've been told the the "IOWA" ones are the best, but I can get the Campbell one easy locally. And it looks like they are Made in U.S.A. not sure though. Thank, Jim

I've put in other brands, but always ended up digging them out and putting in an Iowa. Can't remember the specific brands or problems why they had to be dug up, but its much better to do it right the first time. Lee

It's pretty hard to beat an Iowa. We have a lot of Merrill's around here but it's because they're made in my local area in Storm Lake Iowa. I've never had a lot of trouble with either one unless it freezes or is bent over.Jim

Ya, I knew in the back of my mind that I should just find an Iowa one, but was at Grainger the other day and ask what they had. I will look for one online. Thanks for the replies. Jim

I guess I have to take back what I said. I have a Ritchie hydrant that's been in for 4-5 years and works good so far. Lee
