Homier? generator

Homier? the tool sale people sells generators. Are they any good for light duty several times a year? What about parts? On a scale of 1-10 how would you rate them? Thanks. David.........

They are not too bad. They have a Honda knock off engine on them and they start first or second pull. I have 3 of them and use them pretty regular.
And by Honda knock off I mean, every part from a Honda, fits these things and vice versa. I have about six genuine Hondas and the parts are ridiculous in price so I have been getting parts for the china stuff and it fits perfectly, even has the same markings on the parts as did the Honda stuff.
They even have the EPA and CARB approval on them. Not bad for the money IMO.

No knowledge of the generators, but I bought several itmes from Homier, and without exception all of it was absolute JUNK. Grinder got hot and quit. Castings broke under normal use. Belts were so cheap to come apart and slip. Bolts twist off - - with a small cresson wrench. Save you money and buy something with a little quality. Homier is nothing but trash. Tom

f you would kindly find me a few that are not Re-Badged imports and marked up 300% I would gladly purchase one.
I buy and use AMERICAN made equipment and tools always. But, when I have to search for things that are actually AMERICAN made in my price range, there are not many available. I have an Onan that I use at the shop and one at the house, but I can't afford to send a $3,000.00 generator out on a jobsite knowing that it will most likely not return.
My wages have not gone up with inflation or the cost of fuel, and everything else. Have yours?
I have to do what it takes to get by and I have to buy things that will do the job at a reasonable cost. I don't like it, but unfortunately, thats the way our government has made things.

Unless it"s a proven brand name sold at your local dealer who has been in business for years. You"ll save spending some money but it will be all thrown away.
Beware of clone generators with real Honda etc stickers on it.

Homier generators are junk... I rate them at a -1. They will not honor any warranty on them. Buyer beware...

I Agree with what you said x 1000. I have never bought a Homier generator but I would rate everything I have bought there ZERO point ZERO....COMPLETE JUNK. There junk was worth more as scrap before they (whom ever made this crap) made it.

Wouldnt buy any of that Homier junk. My grandad wanted me to take him to a sale a few years back, where he bought a garden hose(told him not to!) He used it pretty soon after we got home, and it swelled up and bursted, the same day. He called their "customer service" number, and all it did was ring.
