I'm looking for a online dealer to buy parts for this weedeater. I need the throttle, throttle cable, and air filter cover.

Is there an online site that will give me a diagram of the bump head. I don't know if the head of this trimmer is missing any parts. It doesn't seem to want to dispence line properly>

Hi,
Yes, I lost the screw from the bump head knob(i can't be the only one). I thought somebody might have the specs on the screw before I take it apart and start a fight at home depot(kidding). I want to be sure of the length.
thank you in advance,
Trevor Hopkins

Trevor,

Did you ever find the specs for the bump head screw for the Homelite SX-135? I lost mine today and can't find it. Nor can I find an exploded part diagram on the web.

Thanks,

Harvey Schoenman

My weedeater will only run a few seconds. My theory is that the fuel pump is not pressureizing the tank. If this is the probable cause, where could I purchase a valve leaf for the pump? Thanx in advance

Sorry but you have the wrong concept for it.
Look for:
-air leak...pin holes in fuel lines etc...
-blocked spark arrestor in muffler..
-if over 5 years old, a carb Diaphragm & gasket kit.
I have the parts for your trimmer.

I have a SX 135 and need to know how to set the high and low carb adjustments for an initial start. I have air, fuel and spark, but it still won't start without a lot of pulling and sweat.

Has anyone answered the question about the carburetor adjustment settings for the SX-135? I need both the high and low settings for initial startup. Also once started and warm how do you adjust the high setting for optimal running? Do you adjust for highest rpm or should there be a little dieseling. (heard this term from a mechanic)Thanks

I had the same problem...I found that a wasp had built his nest in the muffler hole. It created back pressure so the fuel wouldn"t go through the combustion chamber. I cleaned it out and it works great!

a04447, which includes filter, two rubber tubes, wire clamp (for fuel filter) and fuel cap..
Am sorry I do not have one but this may help you in your search...Roe

I can't help you on the parts but my son recently was given one of these weedeaters and would like some help in the mixture parts of gas and oil. Would you possibly be able to give him the mixtures? I have searched the internet over and over and can't find anything on this model of weedeater! Thank you for your time, Cindy Wyatt

just buy a small quantity of the two cycle engine oil in autozone or kmart, walmart, acehardware...it's usually only a couple of dollars for about 6-16 oz

follow the directions, usually for 2 stoke weed-eaters, it's about a 50/50 mix,, two-cyc.oil to gas

Which primer bulb depends on the make of the carb...WALBRO or ZAMA.

I keep both on hand.

Hey Bill Thanks for your helping people like me. I have the homelike SX 135 and it will not run . It seems to me that it is not getting enough fire. Could you tell me how many amps or OHMS that the spark is suppose to put out or how else can I tell. I think maybe I might need to buy a magneto from you. I was hopping that you could E-Mail Me back with your suggestions. Thank you very much. Paul H LaGant
