Hi, Wondering if someone could explain to me how to set trip lever for the ignitor. I am trying to set it to trip at or before TDC on commpression but everything seems 180 deg out of time? Only wants to trip the hammer on exahst stroke? Am i Missing something?

IIRC, there's two lobes on the camshaft, the lower one trips the igniter, the taller one trips the igniter and then operates the exhaust valve.

The ''trip bracket'' is adjustable to set when the igniter trips.
 
Ok thanks, just one more question. When i set the trip to the lower side of the cam for ignition, am i setting so that it just trips the lever when SPARK is lined up or am i setting so that it makes the
**snap** right when SPARK is lined up
