Removing a centrifugal clutch

I have a Wisconsin single cylinder motor that is used on an ingersoll Rand packmaster compactor. I need to remove the centrifugal clutch off the shaft.

Outside pulley was held on with a C ring and it pulled off. Inner clutch does not have a set screw that I can find. The backing plate is too thin to use a 3 jaw puller on.

I can't get a bearing puller behind it enough to grab.

Any thoughts on what might work to pull it off?[/img:2a84e7e5fd]

(quoted from post at 18:52:04 07/20/20) Is it on a taper? Get a pry behind it & hit the shaft with a brass hammer.

Not that I can tell. Looks like a regular shalt. There is a my on it, so I am assuming it was pressed on. I have never seen one on a regular shalt without a set screw.

I am going to build a plate I can get behind the clutch shaft and then heat the shaft.

K will let the group know how it works.
