Briggs WMB motor

I have obtained a B&S WMB motor and Briggs is useless in finding out what year it was made. Their site states production was from 1938 to 1957 and the chat line says the company computer system doesn't go back that far for info. I was hoping someone here can direct me to or can tell me what year it is. Type 95586 Model WMB Serial 206261. I found the owners manual on briggs site which is very helpful using it to find why no spark and am curious what year it is.
 
I have 5 or 6 of those engines and have restored most of them. I love to crank and run them. They will idle down really really slow if you play with them. I am running a two freezer ice cream set up with one of those little engines. (2 gallon size freezers). My neighbors love it. Larry
