I will be carrying this as payload in my 1929 Dodge Bros Stakebed truck. This engine is a most appropriate item I would say.
The truck came out of Sutter CA and this is a fresh restoration I completed.

This is a process of discovery. I did find a number on the flywheel. It is TA12160. Does this indicate a year of engine.?

(quoted from post at 13:09:57 07/31/19) Great looking truck.
Bit fancier than mine.

Nice find. I can't add much info you probably don't already have. I read an article years ago in Gas Engine Magazine that referenced a Sattley engine with a higher serial number that was (according to the author) from the 1920s. I would guess yours is a little older than that.
