Hit Miss Identification?

Hey all my cousin is looking to sell the attached Hit Miss. From doing some research I beleive it to be a Hercules Economy 2.5 Horse. The serial number tells me it is a 1919 model year, but I am not sure the sub model.

None of the pictures I have found look exactly like it. In your expert opinions what does he have here? Also I know it ran 8 years ago before my uncle passed, what would the value of this guy be with the cart.

Thanks!

Nick

That is a pretty nice looking 2 1/2 hp Economy on a electric wheel cart. From the looks of it, that rig is a factory set up from top to bottom. Too bad someone painted the decal on the hopper black on it. Not knowing the condition of the wear areas on it (bearings, gears, piston, valves), I would place a estimated value of right around $700 - $900 on it. Location and such play some into what the value is as well. They are very nice running engines and can be used for quite a few different displays at shows because of the size.

Thanks for the info guys. Yes I had been to that site, but was failing to see a pic that looked exactly like this one. Most of them show the oiler protruding from the inside of the hopper, but the one my cousin has, the oiler is on the outside of the hopper so I wasn't sure what I was looking at! lol

It is located in South East WI if that helps with the location pricing aspect.

Thanks again guys!

You might want too come over to Smokstak, you should gather lots of information. Yes as others have said you have what a appears to be a very nice Economy.
