TJD Date

Hey to all, While claenihng the rust and crap off the intake of my TJD I found this (LC266A) and right under it says DATE ; would this be just the part # or date made or what????? Thanks, Dw

I've got 5 or 6 TJD's here, and, strangely, none
have that on them. perhaps a foundry casting
date for quality control tracing.

Thanks for the reply, Do you know how to tell the year TJD's were made? ie,model #, serial#, This one's mounted on a Hobart Welder I'm restoring? Thanks, Dw
