I had find another fly wheel for thsi thing. The engine i found had a broken handle. I got mine apart but can someone post a picture or something of how the spring goes in? and can i buy a new spring the old one some how got to be NFG!. Also can i leave the spring out? does it really matter the rotation should pull it in no?

Rotation will not hold handle in.Looks like the pin will have to be removed to replace the spring.Can't see what holds the pin in.Two of the coills go over pin ,and loop over handle.Try WWW .hitnmiss.com for parts and help............

Try Starbolts or Hitnmiss for spring and new pin too. I can't remember if pin is tapered or just braded over on end. The handle will be sticking out without spring and still will if pin is worn letting it hang up.
