Tips & Tricks for Installing Tie-On Seat Covers

I’m looking for ideas on installing the tie on seat covers like the ones pictured. I’ve seen at shows where people will install them and they will hung and contour the seat pan and almost look upholstered or tucked. What is the trick? I tried to glue one on a Farmall seat pan once and it didn’t look any difference than just sitting it on there and using the crappy tie string.

(quoted from post at 17:45:16 11/10/23) I think the real trick would be to find one that actually fits.

Haha. I know but I ve seen it done before where they were glued down and possibly heated up to conform to the seat. Not sure how and not sure how you d get to stay in place.
