Brakes on John Deere 410D

I have a John Deere 410D backhoe and the brakes on the left rear do not work. Right side works fine but nothing on the left.
Anyone have any ideas on what could be wrong.
Thanks

The way the system works, it uses hydraulic oil for the brakes, but they are not power brakes.

The brake valve/reservoir is constantly slowly replenished when the engine is running, and the excess overflows back to the rear housing.

Have you tried bleeding the brakes?

If that doesn't help either you have issues with the brake pistons and/or discs, etc. down in the final drive housing and are losing oil (internally) or something is wrong in the brake valve itself.

The scary part is when worn out brake parts start making metal flakes they get circulated throughout the whole hydraulic system.
