Is there a conversion available for converting to a screw-on fuel filter?

Sort of, Ive switched a few over from the glass bowls to
screw on filters. Ive got the part # somewhere, but you
can look up salvage parts on any of those tractors 574,
674 , 684 and find the screw on filter housing.

Here is a link to the manufacturers engine parts book
for your tractor. In case it is not obvious you click on
..Complete Machine.. to view the subsections. Look at
subsection D23. It shows a spin-on setup for the 544
and 2544 tractors. The filter head is available but my
guess would be you probably will not want to purchase
it there.
