Drip Plug is dripping

The carburetor on my 1947 Farmall M has a thing called a "drip plug" on the bottom of the bowl, and guess what, It's dripping. How can I fix this? Do I have to buy a whole rebuild kit? How do you remove the drip plug? And what the ### is a drip plug for? None of my other tractors have this on their carbs.

Either your needle and seat or your
float is bad unless it just does it
during extended cranking times. The
weep plug is there to let you know
that and to keep from pulling all
the excess fuel into the cylinders.

The plug is doing it's job so leave
it alone. You're lucky it's still
good.
