Valve adjustment

Hello all,
I will be adjusting the valve clearance on my ferguson 51 (tea20) for the first time. I read a bit about it on this forum, but I m still trying to figure out how to identify intake from exhaust valve. Anyone has a easy way of figuring this out? Thanks

Yep. Just look at your manifold
ports. Intake ports will line up
with the Intake valves and exhaust
ports will line up with the exhaust
valves. Every other one will be the
same.

A good practice is to rig up a nurse bottle of gas to the carb so you can run it with the valve cover off
and listen for a noisy one when you are done.

Much better to find it now than after everything is back together!

As per M-MAN suggestion...
NOTE:
There are 8 ports.......
NOT all Internal combustion engines have individual ports per VALVE..
