Steering wheel shaft bearing replacement

1973 Ford 4500. Where can I find the ball bearing for the steering wheel shaft. I measured the ID (shaft diameter) to be 1.00". The outer diameter is harder to determine because the outer shaft housing has a small flange to assure the bearing doesn't pop out. But I measured that diameter to be about 1.835". So the real OD of the bearing is probably about 1.875". Photos of the steering shaft and the outer shaft housing provided. You'll see the inner race of the bearing still holding tightly to the steering wheel shaft and the outer race still inside the shaft housing.

Hello Hunter welcome to YT! Here is a link to the
manufacturers online parts catalog. Not sure how
much of what you are looking for is available from
them, in some case you have to make sure you are
setting down when you see their prices. If they do not
have it or it is outrageously priced try to web search
the part numbers for alternative sources. FYI the balls appear to be sold individually. If you view
that on a phone the site may not work real good. Also
FYI on a phone it may not be apparent that you can
view all the parts sections for your tractor there. If
need be just put 4500 in the search box.

''FYI the balls appear to be sold individually.''

Used, if you look closely, the balls sold individually are for the recirculating ball nut, NOT for the upper bearing.

Dunno what the deal is, but none of the 3 steering gears listed at the official parts site have an upper tube at all like the one in the O.P's photo, and show a sleeve bearing at the top.

Perhaps he has the model number wrong, or his machine has some sort of an aftermarket or conversion steering gear?

Or?

Sorry for the misinformation. Ya, I was tired and did not investigate that real thorough. Typed it right before I went to sleep for the
day, working nights 7-12s for 4 weeks straight is tough
on a 61 year old. I think my night job is done this
weekend, soon everything will be back to normal at the
refinery.

There's certainly no need to apologize! The REAL issue is WHAT does the O.P. actually have, as the parts photos he posted seem to be VERY different than what is shown in the parts catalog for the model number he gave us.

This is what I have. This isn't my tractor but it's identical to what I have for a steering system. I ordered the steering shaft bearing E1ADKN3556 shown in the catalog. It has some loose balls and a bear race. I don't think this will work for me. Any other thoughts anyone?
