Ford 45oo industrial TLB right rear axle housing removal

I need to replace my right axle seal. How do I separate the axle housing from the center housing with the loader frame on? I keep hitting the loader frame before the axle housing will lift off.
Thanks in advance for your help. Tom

You'll have to drop or remove the loader frame.

It looks like that frame is 2 separate pieces, left and right. Can I lower the right side only by removing one of the bolts where it is mounted to the front of the tractor and just loosen the remaining bolt? I think I will have to disconnect the hydraulic line that ties the 2 sides together.

It's been a while since I've worked on one. The loader frame is also your hydraulic reservoir. I don't remember how far you can drop it down before you run into problems. If you don't remove the side you're working on, the complete frame will have to pivot in unison with the opposite side. Be sure to block both the frame and the center housing well. You make your pivot point up front on the front bolster by removing all but one bolt (per side) to create a hinge. Someone else will have better info quicker (post your question on the Ford forum) as it will be a week before I get back to the ranch. There's an old 4500 up there that I can look at to refresh my memory. The Ford forum will solve your problem before then.
