MF35 psi with water ballast

We bought new 13.6x28 tires and rims for our tractor. We've filled them 75% with water ballast, what should the psi be? It measures 28 psi, is this correct?

just straight water? I run 8 psi in my tires, with CaCl loaded tires.

Ballast in the tires does not change the recommended air pressure. 28 psi is way too much. A MF 135 with 13.6 x 28 tires recommends 14 to 16 psi. What pressure did you run in your old tires? What does your operator's manual recommend for a pressure? Depending on implements or other weight you may carry on the 3-point hitch you might add a couple pounds to the recommended pressure. You might go a couple pounds less, if the tires aren't flattening to the ground on the bottom.
