just starting on H put in new battery i get nothing shouldnt the lights at least turn on?

Hello TGR welcome to YT! Not sure how old you are
but surely by now you have figured out we do not live
in a perfect world. What should happen and what does
happen is often two different things. You dont give us
any details about the previous life of this tractor. If
someone stuck a 12 V battery in it and turned on all the
lights, poof.. all the bulbs just burnt out. And then
theres bad wiring, bad switch and yes it has a fuse.
The fuse is on the light switch in the little oval box with
the ammeter on it. I am attaching a link to a previous
post with wiring diagram for an a battery powered
ignition. That means it had a distributor with points
and a coil, and note that is not the same as a magneto.
We will see where this takes you, do you have an
automotive test light? If not you need to get one.

Yes i am trying to get them both to start then decide which one to restore first.
