mower problem

I am new to this site. I have a Ford 1100, and I have a problem with the rear mower. The PTO will not turn the blades. It was working fine, then just quite. With the tractor off I am able to pull on the belts of the mower, and the blades and the PTO turn. But when I start the tractor the PTO turns but the blades don't. I am stumped.

If it is like mine, the shear bolt probably broke.

Rear mower, so a finish mower with a gear box to the belts?

If tractor spin pto shaft to the box but mower does not spin......

Gears stripped/busted in the mower box??

Or if lucky a mower gear box input or output shaft has sheared a key or shear bolt.
