Overhead track for separating tractor

It seems every tractor I rescue needs split
for some reason and hoping to make it
easier, I made this in the ceiling of this
shed. The wood beam/rafter is a full 4x 6
straight grained oak. I've split a 4500 lb
tractor with no problem and with the
trolley rated at two ton, I could do a
heavier tractor. It really has made it much
quicker and easier to do a tractor repair.

Looks good.. .. I guess. Is the rafter a truss style? I suppose when the roof comes down you will know the capacity was somewhat less than you were trying to lift! ; > ) If there is no center support posts I think if it were mine and I was hanging nearly 2 ton on it I would place a temporary support post on the opposite roof slope with some triangular braces just to help out supporting the load. Of course it is yours and you can use it how you see fit.

Is that a bolt in the end of the I beam or a hole? If its just a hole I would put a bolt or something in there to stop the trolly so it doesn't fall off the end.
