New Summit tractor missing part

I need some help identifying what should be in the hole in my brand new summit tractor. This is a Mitsubishi 24.7 hp engine. After 1 hour of operation I noticed oil had spewed out of this hole.what is this hole and what goes there? Summit is not telling me much info.

Looks like it would be the crankcase oil filler plug that is missing. Should be shown in your owner's manual where it talks about oil changes.

Thanks! That s what I needed to know. I would not expect a brand new tractor to have this missing or fall out! Who knows what damage I have done to this machine after running it for a couple hours like this.

Likely no damage.
Did you check oil level before adding some?
Where was it on the dipstick?

Oil level was barely visible on the tip of the dipstick.

Why not ask the dealer where you got your BRAND NEW tractor?
