I have a old Massey Furgeson 65 , and I'm trying to time it. I think the window and to the flywheel are off the mark to line up. I know it is B on pump and 24 at the flywheel.

I am having trouble finding when to stop turning the engine is it at the flywheel when it hit 24 and then set pump at the letter B. I was told to believe I had to get first piston in fire mode. So I feel for the compression and when I first feel it takes some turning of the engine to get it to 24 on flywheel is it ok when what I can best describe as the piston Mabe be going down to get flywheel to 24.

It is a 1963 4 cylinder pekins 3.3L Direct injection.

FORGET about all that, just align the pump flange and timing case marks and be done with it. Long as the engine gears are in place correctly the pump drive dowel pin will have the engine in time.

It says 24 flywheel B at pump. I believe I got it hoping will try Friday let you guys know its been a hard road to educate myself nothing like working on gas cars.
