New Idea Model 12 or 12 A manure spreader

Hoping to find some help here if possible. I am restoring a New Idea 12 or 12A (I think) manure speader. I have the manuals but there is nothing in them about tire assembly or bearings in the manuals. The entire tire/axle assembly will slip side to side on the axle when using it on hillside causing chain to slip off of sprocket wheel on hub as it moves out of alignment with chain. Not sure what to do next.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hello Andreael welcome to YT! Your spreader has what
I call ..barrel roller.. bearings as did many brands on
their models in that era. I simply did a web search and
the diagram in the link came up. It is most likely just a
matter of finding where to place some more large
washers to take up the side slack. Unless it was
operated for a time without grease and the bearings
are chewed out. Good idea to jack up the machine and
tip the tire in and out top and bottom. I would say if the
outer edge tips back and forth more than a 3/4 the
actual condition of the bearings should be pulled apart
and checked.

Thanks so much, I'll give that a try!
