Massey 265 Hydraulic Lift Dust Boot replacement

By any chance, does anyone have a trick or standard method, of reseating a new replacement dust boot, on the Hydraulic lift of a Massey 265 ? How do you get the little flange at the bottom of the New Boot, to fit into the groove ?

Hello Julio welcome to YT! I am not a Massey guy so I
cant help you. I assume you have a cab tractor and
the boot you are talking about seals around the lift
mechanisms for the 3 point, is this correct? Are you
sure something does not unbolt or unscrew from the
opposite side you are looking at inside or outside? You
have sort of fell on the road less traveled on this topic
section the viewing numbers are not real high here.
There is a topic section just for Massey tractors if you
post this over there you may get a better or quicker
answer, see the link.

Thank you for your response. Actually, I am not even a tractor guy really, let alone a Massey. I just happen to have one for menial chores. This rubber boot resembles the ones that fit over the shifters to keep water out of the hydraulic oil. The boot that I am referring to, has larger holes in the ends, and is only held in place by friction and the little upturn that fits into a groove. This is situated at the back, looking from the outside. The groove is closest to the transmission. I wish I had the correct terms for these locations, and if I knew how to send a picture, I would. I just thought that there might be a tool that would allow me to push the "upturn" into the groove. Obviously, I don't want to use a sharp edge like a screw driver, and a popsicle stick is too thick. Thanks again for your response.
