Allis Chalmers road flare box

I have my Dads 1949 Allis Chalmers model G. He bought it new with all accessories. In the barn with the seeder cans and plows is a flare box with three kerosene road flares in it. It is approximately five inch's square by two feet long with a lid. It is painted Allis Chalmers orange so I know it goes on this tractor but WHERE ? I can't find a photo in the manual of it or online.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can't help, but would love to know. Sounds
interesting to have them on a G. I could
possibly see them on an industrial model
of some sort.

Orange paint was used on a lot of highway equipment. While never impossible, I doubt the flares and box are related to your G, as factory equipment. I would suspect he had it from something else and it just got stored in that area of the barn. JMHO

Black letters are painted on the box. They are very hard to read but what I can says (TRG???EAR) then below that in smaller letters is (ANTILES Force OILERS Co. Ft. Mader?????)
I have my Dads 1947 Lincoln welder which is on a trailer and maybe they were for that ?
Thanks for the reply

After I got your reply I went on ebay and found a flare box, in much better condition but identical, the lettering on it was good. It read TRUK FLAR, Anthes Force Oiler Co. I then took the flare box back out to the barn and went round the Lincoln welder, which is orange and found four bolt holes in the side of the cable/helmet box that match perfect. Thanks for helping me solve this. Wish I would have done this while my dad was still here. He is most likely looking down saying "That kid never listened to anything I said" LOL
