574 fuel sending unit

Hard time finding a new sending unit that has a vertical float to fit my 72 574. New ones have a horizontal float that can't be turned. Sn 6334. Any help would be great full. Thanks.

you did not say whether it was a gas or diesel, for the sending units there is not a difference in the parts catalog. for the sending units there are
different parts 531 974 R2 or 534 226 R2. the parts catalog from International only shows horizontal floats in the diagram. I am not sure if either are still
available from Case International. I got rid of my 574 about 10 years ago as salvage because parts were NLA. you might want to post this question in the
International board here on YT or even in tractor talk. a different spot would be posting in Red Power. good luck
