Hi. Re: john deere B front wheels having tighter turning radius in one direction than they do in the other direction. Installed new sector gear with same part number as initial worn sector gear. Sector gear, again, has more travel in one direction before hitting stop bolt then in other direction. There was no way to split the difference with the same amount of teeth on each side when lining up the grooves in the spindle/sector gear. What other adjustments can be made to have an equal turning radius from one side to the other? Thanks in advance. nab

Did you make sure wheels were dead straight when you installed new sector? Wheels straight, sector centered on gear, should be okay. I think the gear may not be centered on the sector with wheels straight. I believe the stops are part of the sector plate.
