Clear coat frame and engine help?

I am looking to clear my frame wheels engine etc for a farmall h tractor.
I am going to use this for tractor shows only any Recommendations for clear also is there anything such as a high temp clearcoat for engine area?

I am interested to find out if a top coat can take the place of a timer.

I haven't personally used a high temp clear but I know they are available. An engine tends to get banged up working on it and would need to be touched up from
time to time. Having the clear on it would make that more difficult. It's usually easier to touch up an engine with rattle can paint. Then often the high temp
clear coatings have strong solvents which might lift the engine paint. Better try it on a small spot first. If you do any sanding of the engine paint the
solvents would be much more likely to lift the engine paint.

here is a clear coat the is supposed to work up to 800 degrees. i have not tried it.
