Quadrant Control Lever Replacement Ford 4400

I have a 1966 Ford 4400 and bent up the quadrant for the control lever shaft. I picked up a used one that was rusted and cleaned it up and repainted it but now I need to install it. So I have questions before I start to pull this apart and get into trouble. The control arm I have is fine so I will re-use the one there, not in the pic because it was bent. But when I take the two bolts off the quadrant shaft, I assume I need a gasket there and a cork friction disk between the lever arm and quadrant where the two meet so it can slide up and down.

The question is how hard is this to pull off and replace? Does it just come off when the bolts are removed or do I need a puller? When I pull the quadrant shaft off is there any washers inside I need to replace? Any worry about hydrolic fluid coming out all over when I do it? Any pins to worry about or Woodruff key or pins.

I can live with the busted up one because it works if I have too but if this is relatively easy to pull off an replace, then I will have a go at it. Any help is appreciated.

When tearing my 961 down for cleaning and painting, the parts were no problem, but I recall rust being a major problem. Typical close fit on steel shaft situation.
