I had previously posted about this. I received several
responses about what could be the remedy. One was the
radiator top hose. But it’s the opposite direction for what that
remedy. I have a brand new radiator on it. I am sending
some pics to let y’all see you f you can figure out what’s
wrong. Help please.

If you need to move the radiator neck left or right a little you can add shims on the radiator bolts on either side of the radiator bottom, as needed. Do you have "pads" under the radiator at both bolts?

Originally, the 8N's had a "horsehair" pad surrounding the radiator neck to prevent contact between the top of the radiator and the hood, I believe you can buy reproductions, if you don't have one and the top tank is close to the hood it might be a good idea to get one to prevent a leak in the future.

Might be the easiest fix to move the radiator hole. You could use a hole saw to make a new hole where you need it and then have someone weld a sheetmetal plug in the old hole. Grind it smooth, a little bondo and paint and nobody will know the difference.

I have found that a lot of aftermarket hoods do not fit like the OEM. They have to be hammered and bent to fit.
