I have Ford 600 , serial number 160918
Dose any one know what year this tractor is?
How do identify the series of tractor?
I know the carburetor was a TSX 813.

I'am not sure of model because the carb is TSX-813 I think thats
for a 801 not 601. Any numbers on engine tell me the size? I think
it could be 172 gas or 134 gas, don;t know which one.
 
4 speed equal a 640. 5 speed with out live PTO/double clutch equals a 650. 5 speed with live PTO as in double clutch where it stops moving when you push the clutch pedal half way down and PTO stops all the way down is a 660.
 
If your real lucky it could be an 841S like I have. 841S has the Sherman combo aux transmission giving it 12 forward speeds and 3 reverse
 
It did't have a air cleaner not sure how it mounts. I bought a used one, appears to mount on battery box but solenoid is mounted in way. Should the solenoid be mounted on battery box too?
 
You have to be careful with those old Fords if you don't know the history of the tractor from when new. I have a 640 transmission and read end but a Jubilee engine and front end! You could mix and match those Fords like lego's!
