Is a Kuboto B6100E 2WD worth fixing

Was given a tractor lately. Due to the injector and clutch problems, dealer is estimating $2400 in repairs not including the full service of fluids and filters, and then new tires all the way around. Unit has 2,000 hours on it. No rust. Is it worth fixing or should I part it out and buy something used that is newer albeit, more expensive. If so recommendations for good old tractor...two wheel drive is fine for us.

Depends on if you do the work yourself or have it done. Kubota tractors really hold their value for good reason.

I would do my own diagnostics before assuming anything the dealer said is really needed.

A shop manual would be a great place to start!

It looks like it has a lot of front weights. Really a lot for a small tractor. I see the rear weights also. I wonder if someone loaded it down and tried to use if for more tractor than it was meant to be.

Recently bought a Ford 3400 3 cyl gas. Dealer told owner $2500 to get
running. I bought for $1200. After a rusty gas tank repair and new
starter soleniod and it runs just great.
