Case 1070 powershift/clutch problem

I recently bought a Case 1070. After using it and getting the oil warm it will randomly stop just like I pushed the clutch pedal down. It will eventually engage and take off again. Also when you stop and let out on the clutch sometimes it won't move for 30 seconds or so. I cleaned the sludge from and rebuilt the valve body on top of the transmission and adjusted the clutch pedal, linkage and inching spool. I have noticed it is hard to steer when moving slow and I have also noticed that at higher RPMs it doesnt mess up as often. Any ideas?

Where is the best place to get in series to check flow and where is the best place to check pressure? Thanks, Mike

These tractors are quite complicated, you really can't do much without a repair manual.
I happen to have a 2 volume factory manual in excellent shape for a 970-1070.
I don't own a case tractor anyway. I'll sell them to you for $100 + freight.
