I have a small oil leak on my hydramotor on my 180 Massey Ferguson.What is the most efficient way to fix or
replace? IT leaks where the steering column connects to the HYdramotor.

I don't know what those used for a hydramotor,but with the Saginaw units on the Olivers,there's a seal on the shaft where it goes in to the casting. It's available from AGCO for less than $35. Not bad to change. Can be done from the outside.

Early models did use the Saginaw unit, late models used Char-Lynn. Similar to what Oliver used too.

How can I know which one I have? MINE is different than the one in the 180 service manual I bought on line.
