Have a John Deere 2010 crawler that's leaking transmission fluid. Pulled the pulled the bottom plate and see this coming out the bottom of the transmission near the drain plug. Can anyone tell me what this is and how to repair the leak?

There's a drain hole in the bottom of the clutch housing with a cotter key installed in it that's supposed to be loose and jangling around to keep the hole open so any oil leaked from the engine rear main seal or the transmission front seal to find it's way out of the "dry" clutch housing.

Obviously, yours has crawled over a few rocks and beat the cotter key up a bit!

ANYHOW, it would seem you have a leaky seal at the front of the transmission, since you say it's leaking transmission oil rather than engine oil.

As Bob said, it is the cotter key in the weep hole in the bottom of the clutch housing (its not in the not transmission), where engine or transmission oil can drip out if the transmission or engine have leaks into the clutch area. The cotter key shows in the parts drawing of the clutch housing. To fix it you will have to pull the motor and likely replace the seal for the transmission input shaft. Check to see if the engine rear main has started to seep while the engine is out as well.
